Polymer Sciences Wheaton Facility

This facility is a dedicated recycling production plant with 50,000 sq. ft. under roof. At this facility we have a full recycling lines dedicated to large oversized parts, large purge, small parts as well as Styrofoam (EPS) material. This facility is our flag ship for various recycling strategies including densification, size reduction and repelletization lines for commodity and engineered plastic materials. With the acquisition of Kennesaw Plastics in 2007, we combined the two operations bringing in Kennesaw's management, personnel and equipment to form a stronger more capable facility. The Miamisburg Ohio facility was added to PSI August 2007, this is a 40,000 sq. ft. facility boasting full shredding, grinding, separation technologies and disassembly capabilities. Polymer Sciences, Inc. has established a presence in Mexico through Plastic Materials Recycling (PMR); a Mexican Corporation organized to Grind and Recycle various materials from Puebla, Mexico servicing the Northern, Central and South Central regions of Mexico. Polymer Sciences, By Products Recovery Plant

Since early 2001 Polymer Sciences has enjoyed a close relationship with By-Products Recovery Corp. in Anderson, S.C. In 2006, PSI purchased stock in this company and enjoys management and ownership participation in this facility. This is a 30,000 sq. ft facility boasting shredding, grinding, metal separation, aspiration and sourcing for the plastics industry. Through this facility we can also handle cardboard, recovery of various recyclable products and maintain a full fleet of semi-trucks and trailers to accommodate customer demands for dropped trailers and swift pick up.
